Ben and Melanie had a beautiful Sablewood wedding! Every detail of their special day was marvelous. Melanie started getting ready with her bridesmaids and loved ones. After her hair and makeup were complete, she put on her elegant a-line wedding gown and pearl jewelry. Melanie made her way outside to where Ben was waiting for their first look. Their reactions were priceless! Melanie beamed as Ben finally saw his beautiful bride. They had such natural chemistry that photographed so well in their portraits! We took photos as they explored the beautiful grounds at The Sablewood.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony & Barn Wedding Reception

Then it was time for their outdoor wedding ceremony. The views of the Catskill Mountains in Hudson Valley were incredible! Ben and Melanie excitedly said their vows under a circular wedding arch filled with florals. After their ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the venue grounds before the barn reception. There were so many sweet moments between this beautiful couple that we are excited to share!

Local craftsmen hand-hewed the timber needed to create the barn beams that are still visible today. Today, The Sablewood hosts year-round weddings with the option to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour in the warmer months.
