Weddings are a whirlwind -- of moments, of emotions, of faces you see much too rarely. we're here to capture all the madness. and more importantly, we're here to help you slow down -- to live in those little in-between moments, to breathe in deeply with each other as the sunsets, to have your own dance
party under the oak trees -- all while we quietly snap away.

It's never lost on me, the fact that I'm documenting the most important moments of people's lives. Apart from the births of my sons, there are few things in my own life that I've found more gratifying. You will find me often times hiding my tears of joy from behind the camera...tears that are often rekindled when editing the genuine interactions in your films.
Born and raised in Idaho, my family didn't travel much beyond our favorite camping spots or the array of National Parks surrounding us, which was perfectly fine with me.
Those family trips instilled in me a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the beauty of the natural world. My love for personal films stem from the countless self-narrated films my grandfather made for us while exploring the wilds of Montana in his twilight years. Those films meant so much to me! Currently raising our children in the historic city of Hudson, NY shadowed by the Catskills and within reasonable distance from NYC & the Adirondacks the exploring hasn't ended with my move East. With certainty... the best adventure is yet to come!
Meet
When I'm not working, being a mama to my 3 amazing boys is honestly the best job ever! They are what really drove me to start this business 12-years ago. After becoming a mom, it taught me how quickly time passes and how memories need to be preserved.
We also love traveling & being able to give them the experience of seeing more of the world....hoping they too will develop a love to see the world & all the beauty it has to offer. Passports in hand we are ready to adventure anywhere!
There is nothing in the world I would rather be doing than documenting weddings! It may sound cliche but I honestly love all things weddings. If it wasn't for my love of photography, I'd probably be a wedding planner. Yes, I love them that much!! And if you hire me, I'm there holding your hand & helping to offer guidance & support as you need it. Being a wedding photographer is the perfect meld of the romantic sap in me & my love for photography. And yes, I'll most likely shed a few tears at your wedding.

Rebecca and Jesse are a dream team. They immediately put us at ease the morning of our wedding. Rebecca is extremely detail oriented with all of her info gathered prior to the wedding. She also scouts the location and has a complete plan and vision for your wedding. We've only received a few shots (being our wedding was last week)... and every one has brought a tear to our eyes. Personally, Rebecca and Jesse are fun, professional, on point, creative, and sensitive to all of your "day of needs". At first we were not planning on having a video - but after speaking to Rebecca and thinking about it, we agreed. And having Jesse there capturing the moments we couldn't see made it all the more special.

Turnquist photography and videography all the way! My husband and I were initially shy in front of the camera, but during our engagement session Rebecca made us feel so comfortable and captured sweet shots. When it came to our wedding day we knew what to expect and felt right at home with Rebecca. She is so talented, fun to work with, and did everything in her power to make sure she captured those most important moments.Prior to our consultation with Jesse we hadn't really planned on doing a wedding video. When we met with him, he showed us one he had just done for another couple and it moved me to tears. It was then that I knew we had to have one.
