The Love Story

We fell in love with David and Natalie’s love story right away! They met on the beach dancing and ended up talking until the sunrise. After some time traveling together and getting to know each other, they knew it was love and David proposed on a hike in their favorite national park in Maine, Acadia National Park. During that trip, they had been spending time with their dog, Nola, hiking, and eating lobster. They went on one of their favorite hikes and David set up a GoPro to capture the moment. Just as the sun was setting, David popped the question and Natalie said yes! They enjoyed the sunset with a bottle of champagne, then had to hurry back to their car through the dark woods. They both burst into laughter when they made it back safe, relieved that they made it and giddy with excitement for what was next.

Outdoor M&D Farm Wedding

M&D Farm was the only wedding venue David and Natalie toured because they fell in love with it right away! They instantly knew that was the place they wanted to exchange vows and start their forever. They also love gardening and M&D Farm features the most beautiful landscaping! On the big day, they read personal vows to each other privately before the ceremony, which was a beautiful and emotional moment. Their dog, Nola, was also a big part of their day, from getting ready to dancing!

Planning a Hudson Valley Wedding

David and Natalie’s wedding planning advice for engaged couples is: “Don’t sweat those little details and don’t make extra work for yourself. Everyone is there because they love you. Don’t feel like you need to add more just to impress people. The less you have the better. You will be the only one that realizes if things don’t go exactly as you planned and just let it go. It’s one of the happiest days of your life so be present, it all goes by very quickly.”

Their favorite memory of their wedding day was waking up and having a cup of tea together before anyone else was awake. They were able to enjoy the beautiful venue and the peace and quiet before the bustle of the day began. They said that they will cherish that moment for the rest of their lives.
