We visited some of our favorite outdoor engagement photo locations in Hudson Valley for this engagement session at Nutten Hook Preserve. This session took place around golden hour and we started off with some images of Liam and Emily in a grassy area. The sun was peeking through the trees beautifully! We moved to the beach for some sweet and romantic moments. Then we wrapped up their session as the sun was going down on the water. Nutten Hook is an incredibly beautiful area in Columbia County that houses the ruins of an old ice house. Blocks of the river were cut during the winter to keep food fresh before refrigerators. There are also trails and a boat launch for kayaking and canoeing on the river.
Liam and Emily let us know that they were quite nervous to take engagement photos. They were feeling timid about expressing their affection for each other in front of the camera. We work hard to make sure our couples feel comfortable and relaxed during their session so that we can create images they will absolutely love. We did the same thing with Liam and Emily and we are in love with how their session turned out! Their love is so evident in the way they look at each other and interact with each other. The photos really tell their story.
