Adventure Engagement Session at Kaaterskill Falls

This exciting adventure engagement photo session at Kaaterskill Falls was a bit of a hike, but it was totally worth it! Steven and Samantha had some beautiful moments under the waterfalls and along the scenic trails. Kaaerskill Falls is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in New York, and we love the hiking trails too. The trailhead leading to the water waterfall is just half an hour from Hudson in Greene County. We love adventure sessions here and have also shot an elopement at the falls!

The Proposal Story, How He Asked

Steven proposed to Samantha on an annual family trip to Lake George. They were sitting around the campfire one night when his cousins suggested they play “a game.” Of course, they were in on the surprise and had Samantha play first. She had to pick a prop from a bag and act out her favorite memory from Lake George. When she went to pick a prop, she pulled out a sign that said, “Will you marry me?” Steven had also arranged for Samantha’s parents to be there, and they all celebrated with champagne and cake by the fire after she said, “YES!”

Windham Mountain Wedding
