This Hudson Valley adventure elopement took place at Kaaterskill Falls in New York state. Jason and Ruth chose Kaaterskill Falls after visiting this location together for a getaway the year before. As they planned their adventure elopement, they just knew they had to have it at Kaaterskill Falls and nowhere else! This magical waterfall held a special place in their hearts, making their elopement even more memorable and special. They wanted to have a wedding that was unique to their adventurous personalities. Jason and Ruth’s elopement was on a crisp, cool September morning. They hiked down to the falls together and said their vows in front of their very closest family and friends. The newly-married couple spent some time enjoying the amazing views of the falls. Then, they headed off to the Catskill Mountain Country Store in their wedding attire to enjoy breakfast and spent the evening together as a family.

Jason and Ruth met each other in their late teens while working together at a catering hall. They ran into each other years later at the same gym and started working out together (and they never stopped)! After their first trip away together, they knew that it was true love and that they had each found their adventure buddy for life.
