It’s a beautiful thing when two peoples’ paths merge into one and then become a journey. What’s even more beautiful is when two families have so much love for their children that they, too, jump into that journey: with both feet. supporting. laughing. crying. loving with all of their hearts. That is what made this wedding so incredibly special (well, that and all of the amazing details, but we will get to those later).

The day started @ this beautiful home, Bushnell Guest House. The rooms were large w/ high ceilings, which let in so much natural beautiful light. By far one of the best getting ready locations for a bride to date! If you are getting married in or near Hudson, it’s a definite must see. When I arrived, I went upstairs where the girls were getting ready & was ever excited when the first thing I had the opportunity to lay eyes on, was Corinna’s gown all hung beautifully for me on the 4 post bed. Of course it was no surprise to me, as Corinna has to be one of the most organized brides I have ever met!!! One of the reasons I absolutely LOVE this girl. And that flower girl dress!!! Don’t even get me started on that one, she was by far the cutest mini bride I’ve ever seen! We had such an absolutely perfect day & the surroundings on the property were equally as beautiful as the inside of the house. The lush trees surrounding us provided ample shade for us so as not to wilt before heading over to the ceremony location.

We headed over to Oak Hill for the first look & ceremony, which was overlooking the Hudson River. So magical, w/ it’s breath taking views & wonderful light falling upon us. After the very emotional ceremony, the party got under way! Between the amazing food, yard games, cocktails flowing & Z&C surrounded by their closest family & friends: everyone was on their way to having an awesome night! When we entered the barn, I almost couldn’t contain myself w/ all of the details Corinna & Zack had put into this wedding. It was absolutely stunning in every way & I didn’t know where to begin w/ taking it all in! This is the kind of wedding I dream of: the kind of wedding that makes you giggle w/ excitement at all the goodies to look at. Z&C, you out did yourselves for sure, just as you had promised. We couldn’t have expected more.
