I’m so excited to share this wedding today. It’s pouring rain & icy outside at the moment, but it brings me such cozy & warm feelings to relive this wedding again. It was an overcast day for Patrick & Chelsea, but the colors were still vibrant on this cool, autumn day in October. After the girls were beautified at Spalon in Hudson, I met them at the Inn at Ca’mea to finish getting ready. The room was open & airy & full of beautiful natural light. We headed outdoors to get some portraits done as we had sometime to spare before the ceremony started. As it was mid October, the foliage was exploding w/ pops of beautiful color all around the grounds at Apple Barn Farm. This has always been a very venue for us over the years w/ it’s apple orchards, corn field, roving horses & open fields. Unfortunately the looming clouds overhead opened up & we were forced to move the ceremony inside the barn. It was simple, beautiful & very touching…not a dry eye to be seen. As soon as the ceremony ended we were happy to see that that rain had stopped & we could finish up w/ our portraits outdoors. Again, the location was so beautiful & I’m so happy for them that we were able to get all their portraits done on the beautiful grounds. The camera just adored these two (as did I) & had a blast running around using as many spots on the property as we had time for. I also enjoyed capturing all the amazing details that Chelsea & her sister put so much time into making for the big day. All their hard effort & time definitely paid off in the end. The night was full of laughter, tears & lots & lots of dancing….mostly done by miss Chelsea herself. She danced so hard she even ended the night w/a trip to the ER after twisting her knee. Well, definitely some good stories to tell & she knows she partied till she dropped!
