Locally-Sourced New York Wedding

Josh and Amelia’s magical wedding at Dirty Dog Farm in Germantown, New York, was such a joy to document! Their wedding day celebration was vibrant and full of life from start to finish. They had a custom-made wedding invitation suite that totally reflected their personalities. Just about everything, from the food to the flowers, was locally sourced from here in New York. The whole day was very laid back and stress-free. We loved how relaxed the pre-ceremony celebration was and seeing so many guests adore these two kind people. Josh and Amelia have two pups, and you will notice that one of them followed them around all day from the time they got ready. Later, the pup even followed them down the aisle! This precious moment was a very cute part of their wedding day. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests mingled outside for a cocktail hour, then enjoyed a meal together under a wedding tent.

Dirty Dog Farm

This couple owns Dirty Dog Farm, a local farm that raises 100% grass-fed beef right here in Hudson Valley and ships throughout the Northeast. They chose to have their wedding on the grounds of the farm. It was a beautiful property with lots of space and great locations to take portraits. There were also some fun barns that added a rustic feel to the setting. Friends of Josh and Amelia at Iron & Grass catered for their wedding, and they used some of the fresh beef raised at Dirty Dog Farm for the meal. Josh and some friends also hand-built the pergola you see pictured on the week of the wedding.

That Bloomin’ Farm Florals

Amelia also owns a floral company called That Bloomin Farm! The floral arrangements at this wedding were some of the most vibrant and creative florals we have seen. The bride’s bouquet was stunning and full of color. The wedding arch was decorated with gorgeous flowers and greenery that blended perfectly with the natural backdrop. Everything about this wedding was incredible, making it an absolutely perfect late summer wedding!
