Who doesn’t love when a beloved fur baby is included in engagement photos? Patrick and Christine’s fall engagement session with their pup was the most fun! We incorporated some fall colors and walked along in the forest for their session. And, of course, their dog was a huge part of their session! We took some photos walking the dog and posing with their sweet pup. Thinking of including your dog in your engagement session? Here are some tips and ideas for bringing your pup along:

• Make sure to plan your session at an outdoor location that allows dogs.
• Bring along water for when your dog gets thirsty.
• If possible, exercise your dog before your session so they can use up their energy.
• Think about bringing an assistant to keep track of your dog when it’s time for photos of just the two of you.
• At-home sessions are also an excellent opportunity to include your dog in your images.

Then, as the sun set, they changed into their second outfit. Christine wore a beautiful floral dress as the couple posed in a field with the sun behind them.
