Bavarian Manor Country Inn, Purling, New York Wedding

Nick and Amanda held their wedding at the Bavarian Manor, a gorgeous bed and breakfast in Purling, New York, where they met working together! The details of their day were unique and amazing. It was a perfect natural boho style wedding outdoors. Nick had completed several woodworking projects to create decorations. Amanda found decor at local antique shops, like the brass candlesticks that were used as centerpieces for tables. On the big day, everyone got ready inside the bed and breakfast.  Amanda wore a gown with a lace top a beautiful boho flower crown that matched her bouquet. The happy couple said their vows under an arch filled with greenery and florals. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a reception in a tent under the stars. There was dancing, a bonfire, and lots of laughter!

The Love Story

The story of how Nick and Amanda fell in love is a beautiful one. They met while working at the Bavarian Manor together. Nick asked Amanda for some help with a tattoo sketch and, as soon as they started spending time together, their connection was obvious! Nick proposed on New Years’ Eve right as the new year was being rung in. They planned their wedding through the pandemic and decided to create a romantic woodland space right at the Bavarian Manor. They have 3 main pieces of advice they shared for couples who are currently planning a wedding:

  1. Stop looking at Pinterest 2-3 months before the wedding. It’s only going to make you second-guess the decisions you’ve already made.
  2. Don’t be afraid to delegate some of the workload to friends and family who are offering to help.
  3. Don’t make mountains over molehills when planning out the minor details. Compromise is key.
