Last September, I had the pleasure of meeting up with this gorgeous couple! It was a perfect fall evening & they were just so easy to capture in their element. Can’t wait for their wedding this September with the addition to a new little one as well!! They are expecting in July! So much to celebrate & couldn’t be happier we will be there to document it all!!

We have always had a special fondness for those untraditional & more carefree take on the wedding day. This has always allowed for a more relaxed & organic vibe where the couple is really able to immerse themselves in the moments of their big day, verse having to focus on a timeline per say. There is a bit of the formalities that need to be addressed & not forgotten, but there really is a much more informal approach to the day as a whole when it is more laidback & flexible.

This particular evening happened to be on a surprisingly very autumn-like afternoon despite it being December in NY. So it was a perfect time for a proposal for these two on their NYC rooftop apartment! Katie’s reaction was priceless & the hopeless romantic that I am, I couldn’t hold back a few tears myself. And since the weather was on our side we decided to head down to the streets.
